Educational Media Lab & Technology Center

The Educational Media Center is the technology resource center for the School of Education at UW-L. The Media Center provides students, faculty, and staff members with access to a variety of state of the art technological resources and the opportunity to further their educational and professional development. The center was recently updated with the latest in media equipment and software.

The center contains the latest iMac, Windows, and laptop computers. The media center also has digital cameras, camcorders, color printers, scanners, and a portable computer cart with a digital display that can be transported to any classroom for multimedia presentations. Media center patrons can check out some of the hardware in the center including laptop computers, digital cameras, and camcorders. The media center is used for multimedia design, video productions, computer based application development, and faculty and staff technology training. The center is also used for instructional meetings and general computer use. 

The center is open at various convenient times from morning to early evening, Monday through Thursday. It is staffed with graduate and undergraduate assistants that can assist students, faculty, and staff members with many of their technology needs.
