At UW-L, Inclusive Excellence is our active, intentional, and ongoing commitment to bridge differences with understanding and respect so all can thrive.

Inclusive means everyone. The range of perspectives an instructor can bring to bear on an issue in a course can be many and varied. Solving the complex problems of the modern world works better when we bring a broad range of experiences, perceptions, skills, and knowledge to bear. When we work together across differences with respect for one another and focus on finding the best solution, our solutions are more likely to work.
