This type of programming can include: lecture series, classroom or studio videotaping, or editing projects. A project can consist of one program or include a 20-part series similar to the Computer Science Series which is produced every few years.
Recording a classroom lecture can be also be an important tool for learning. It can allow a student to review the material presented, it may give a student to get a lecture he/she missed, or it may allow students to see a presentation of a special guest.
