Many Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD's) occur in the hand or arm. The below image shows five hand positions that put additional pressure on the muscles, tendons, and nerves in your arm and can lead to MSDs. Try to remember to keep your hand out of these positions as much as possible. If your hand must be in these positions remember to take rest breaks and stretch your hand in the opposite position to relieve the pressure on your arm.
