The Associate Director of Facilities Management reports to the
Director of Facilities Management. The Associate Director assumes
the Facilities Management responsibilities of the Director of Facilities
Management in the Director's absence. The Associate Director
assists in the administration and development of organization
policies and procedures, is responsible for the operational
supervision of all organization functions such as budgeting for
resources, scheduling, and coordinating all work, monitoring and
evaluating employee performance, conducting disciplinary action
and coordinating any services needed for campus special events.

The Management Information and Administrative
Support personnel are responsible for providing program
support assistance to Facilities Management supervisory and/or
professional staff regarding Facility Management organization
administrative and budgetary functions.
Management Information tasks include: preparation of fiscal year budget projections and monitoring expenditures, invoice and work order processing, preparation of small project bid documentation and project closure reports, development and coordination of computerized data control systems, maintenance and update of the facilities inventory data base, preparation of campus-wide energy consumption reports, and coordination of the purchase and distribution of employee uniforms. Administrative support tasks include: administration of maintenance purchase orders, blanket order agreements, invoices, billings and other related activities, as well as coordination of the university central fleet dispatch program and monitoring employee personnel documents (time card worksheets, overtime usage reports, etc.).
