I am always interested in working with students in both independent study and undergraduate research.

I have particular interests in operator theory, analysis (real/complex/harmonic), algebra (Lie algebras/advanced linear algebra), and applied math (math bio/PDEs). However, I would be interested in other areas depending on the circumstances.

If you have any interest in independent study or research, drop by my office or send me an email. Below you can find information of previous and ongoing undergradute research I am involved with.

In this project, statistics emphasis and biology minor Cassy Jens and I developed models for a zombie outbreak to determine if it is possible to survive such an outbreak.
