Camping On Grand Mesa Colorado with Our American Eskimo Dogs ~ August 2006

After receiving my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981, I worked in industry for almost 20 years for the following companies: The Trane Company in La Crosse, Wisconsin; Badger Equipment Company in Winona, Minnesota; and TRW Automotive Electronics in Winona, Minnesota.  After that, I worked as an Instructor of Mechanical Design for Western Technical College in La Crosse.  During that time, I taught and wrote curriculum for the following courses: Advanced Parametric Design, Design Analysis, Design Problems, Interpreting Engineering Drawings, Mechanisms & Dynamics and Statics & Strength of Materials. I have spent the last five years here at UW-La Crosse in the College of Business Administration's Management Department an Associate Lecturer and have now been promoted to the rank of Lecturer.  I have also served as the President of the Campus Dames, a UW-L organization that sponsors activities for the partners and spouses of Faculty and Instructional Academic Staff.

If you would like to see some photos of me, my husband Rick, some of my friends, my favorite travel photos, our two American Eskimo dogs (who passed away in April 2011) and the newest addition to "Our Family", a miniature American Eskimo named Dakota, click Here.
