of lungs beyond normal body needs
18. sputum: mucous secretion
from the lungs, bronchi, and trachea expelled through the mouth
19. ventilator: mechanical device
used to assist with or substitute for breathing when patient cannot breathe
unassisted.

only in a straight (upright) position
