ECO 440: International Financial Economics / 3 Credits

The economics of the international monetary system and financial transactions, with emphasis on macroeconomic policy. Balance of payments problems, exchange rate determination and its effects on economic growth and stability, and policies to achieve international market equilibrium are analyzed from a theoretical and empirical point of view. Prereqisite: Eco 120 and Junior Standing.
