Goals
My teaching goals include:
- Adding more voice lectures
- Creating interactive media
- Creating a stand-alone online orientation site
- Revising syllabi for courses to include more detailed information
- Creating more rubrics for projects and papers
- Developing more small group projects to assist in peer review and online collaboration
My primary objectives in online teaching are to foster
critical thinking; facilitate life-long learning skills, prepare
students to function effectively in their professional
environment, and to ensure that they develop problem solving
strategies.
The single, most important challenge for me is to ensure
student-teacher interactions and student-student interactions
are successful and that we have created a cohort based
collaborative online community.
