This
page currently presents some images of my experiences in Peru. I hope to have the time soon to be able to
develop this page further to include more detailed discussions of the fieldwork
I have conducted in Peru and present some images of that fieldwork.
This
is the Moquegua Valley of Peru. Since
there is clear evidence of fairly direct control over this region by Tiwanaku,
archaeological research in the Moquegua Valley has been very important in evaluating
the nature of Tiwanaku's influence beyond the its heartland in the Titicaca
Basin.
The
