Greetings--I am currently teaching Analytical Chemistry (CHM 301), Environmental Chemistry (CHM 412), and General Chemistry II (CHM 104).
My research interests lie in the areas of environmental and analytical chemistry, particularly the biogeochemical cycling of mercury (Hg) in the environment. My research group is involved in several studies examining the mercury content of environmental samples (water, soil, air, sediments, and fish, for example) with the use of our "clean" laboratory facility. I invite interested students to contact me about my research activities and projects.
