"Books to Read Before You Die"
Following the example of Harvey Sarles at the University of Minnesota, here are books not assigned to the class, but books that you should consider reading sometime in your life.
1. Earth Education by Steve Van Matre (maybe only the first 50 pages)
2. Experience and Education by John Dewey
3. Education and the Significance of Life by Krishnamurti
4. King
Leopolds Ghost by Adam Hochschild (condemnation of colonialism, using
Belgian Congo as example).
