Rec 491 Field Trip No. 1

Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge

Friday, September 16      11am – 2:30pm  (back by 3 at the latest)

No class Wednesday, September 14

Opportunity to see unique natural area 30 miles north of La Crosse.  Meet with staff to discuss interpretative services, as well as current management issues along the Upper Mississippi.

Guide:  Hallie Rasmussen

Meet at:   North Campus (near baseball diamond)  at 11am

Bring:  Wear clothes for hiking

            Rain gear if any chance of rain

            Optional:

                        Binoculars (good birding, with chance of seeing pelicans)

                        Camera

                        Lunch and water, although we will not break for lunch
