  I've been teaching for about 30 years, 25 of them at UW-La Crosse:  before  that, for the University of Maryland on military posts in Germany and the Netherlands, and before that, at Nathaniel Hawthorne College in New Hampshire and Missouri Southern College in Joplin.

  I have a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition, and teaching writing is my primary interest.
