Dr. Robert Wingate

Dr. Wingate retired in 2005 after a distinguished career that spanned more than 40 years starting here at UW-L in 1965. Over the years Dr. Wingate taught many courses, with special interest in Introduction to Earth Science, Geography of U.S. & Canada, Geography of Europe, and Urban Geography as well as leading countless field trips both overseas and throughout the U.S. and Canada.

In his spare time, Dr. Wingate enjoys travel, community service, travel, reading, travel, staying active in both the civic and campus communities, and did we mention travel?
