1. Assessment Coordinator Position
This position will be discussed at the upcoming Senate meeting. No action will be taken this week.
2. Budget
The Chair will discuss the state’s budget woes and its local implications at the next Senate meeting.
3. Motion to Approve the Academic Calendar for 2010/11.

4. Gathering SEIs Online
The SEC will request nominations for an ad hoc committee to research the issues involved in gathering SEIs online.
5. Publishing SEIs for Public/Student Use
Is there an appropriate Senate committee for this particular issue? The Chair will ask System Legal about the students’ current rights regarding access to SEI data.
6. Amethyst Initiative
We may take a “sense of the Senate” vote on this issue, despite the Student Senate’s voting down the initiative.
