Faculty Senate Evaluation of Administrative Offices
June, 2008
In the spring 2008 semester, the Senate Executive Committee began an evaluation of the Campus Climate Office, the Child Center, the Chancellor’s Office, and the UW-L Foundation. The evaluation consisted of two phases. In the first phase, faculty and instructional academic staff were asked to respond to three questions: 1) What would you like to see more of? 2) What would you like to see less of? and 3) What should stay the same? The SEC reviewed the responses and identified emerging themes. These themes were shared with the respective offices. The SEC then created questions based on the themes. The SEC generated questions were shared with the respective offices for their review and comment. Offices also were encouraged to add questions if they wished. The final survey included five to eight questions for each office.
