Student Employee of the Year
2007-08 UW-L Student Employment Week
April 13-19, 2008.
The purpose of this week is to celebrate and recognize the contributions of our student employees.
In addition, supervisors are encouraged to nominate a student for the 2007-2008 UW-L Student of the Year. Campus employers are encouraged to nominate any UW-La Crosse student who has worked for them during the 2007-2008 academic year. Although both Federal Work-Study and/or regular student help employees are eligible, Resident Advisors, Graduate Assistants, or Teaching Assistants are not eligible.
To nominate a student, a supervisor should print out and complete the SEOY Nomination Form.
Students will be evaluated on the following qualities:
1. Reliability
2. Quality of Work
3. Initiative
4. Disposition/Attitude
5. Adaptability
6. Professionalism
7. Uniqueness of Contribution
8. Performance Above & Beyond Job Description
All nominations and supporting documents should be sent to Vernell Glenn on or before February 15, 2008. After the nominations are evaluated and ranked, the “Student Employee of the Year” and the nominees will be recognized campus-wide and throughout the community.
