TransportationMTU Bus in front of Murphy Library

As a student, faculty or staff member, many transportation options are available to you, city bus service being one of them. The La Crosse MTU program has provided over 1,701,000 U-PASS rides between fall of 2000 through 2009. The MTU city busses serve the campus from routes 4 and 5, as well as cover most of La Crosse, with a route into Onalaska and La Crescent. This makes an excellent way to get to campus, especially in the cold winter months. Students receive a discounted pass as part of fees, so don’t worry about buying a bus pass, your student ID is your ticket to ride.

Faculty and staff can buy an annual bus pass for only $70 per year, as of fiscal year 2011. Faculty and staff can also take advantage of pre-tax payroll deduction by buying a bus pass in the Cashier’s Office, 121 Graff Main Hall. Passes are valid from September 1 through August 31.
