Welcome New Students!
New Student Orientation occurs at the start of the fall semester and is
intended for new first-year, new transfer and returning
students. It is our way to welcome students both back, and to,
the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus.
New Student Orientation offers a variety of programs, services,
activities, and fun events designed to welcome and introduce
students to all of the engagement opportunities at UW-L . There
are plenty of opportunities to meet other new and returning
students, find out ways to get involved, and prepare for the
academic year.
We have a number of staff and student volunteers who are here to
help with your transition to the College. Whether it is moving
in or learning all you need to know about UW-L, our volunteers
are here for you.
Even the most enthusiastic student may not be able to attend all
the events, but we hope that you will review the
Schedule of Events and browse the
activities available to new and returning students.
Welcome Week is an exciting opportunity for you to learn about
and celebrate the College community, meet other new and
returning students, and prepare for the year. For new students,
it is the final step in the orientation process.
