Desire 2 Learn
- D2L, or Desire2Learn, is an online course management system used by many UW-La Crosse faculty to enhance face-to-face instruction or teach courses totally online.

D2L allows “anytime, anywhere” access to course-related files, electronic dropboxes for assignments, online quizzes and tests, e-mail, and grades.

To log on to your UWL email
account you will need to know your 8.4. Your 8.4
is a short way of saying the 8 first letters of
your last name "." (point) and the first 4
letters of your first name (this username will
be used for various campus computer systems).

Your entire e-mail address will be your 8.4 followed by @uwlax.edu. When logging on to your e-mail for the first time, follow the instructions found at this website to set up a password.

Meal Plan Options and Dining Services
- If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if
you would like to make a change to the plan you
have already selected, simply contact The Meal
Plan/ID Counter located in 223 Cartwright
Center. You will be billed for your Meal
Plan/Campus Cash purchase at a later date by the
University Business Office.
- Campus Cash can be purchased and added to your account any time during the semester.

Traditional Meal Plans
Students purchasing this plan can use their meals in any of the Whitney Center dining areas and The Cellar.
