This service is called "Remote Printing Service" and can be accessed by clicking the "Login" link in the grey, left pane. Once logged in you will find a "Remote Printing Service" link in the same grey, left pane that will take you to the Remote Printing Service web page.

Students can use their web browser to upload and print documents to one of the print release stations located in the GCA labs(as you would if you were printing from a lab or classroom). These print release stations can be found in Cartwright Center, Murphy Library Reference Area, Murphy Lab 153 and Wing 002.

Costs for printing remains the same with the new Remote Printing Service. 6 cents per black and white page, 90 cents per color page.

Check out our new GCA logo! You can find it on the background of any GCA lab or classroom computer as well as on the log in screens.
USB/Flash Drives:
-
Some USB/Flash Drives try to install software when they are used in a computer. These drives will not work in the GCA Labs, Classrooms, or Podiums. Many cheaper drives do not install software and work in the Labs, Classrooms, or Podiums.
The SuperTalent flash drive is a simple product, but one that has been tested and works great in our teaching podia and GCA facilities. Most everyone at this time is purchasing either the 4GB @ 11.99 or the more popular 8GB size @ 28.99 + S&H . Either one of these can be purchased on line at this link: Directron.com SuperTalent Flash Drive.
