ASSESSMENT: The process of documenting, usually in measurable terms, knowledge, skills, attitudes and beliefs, to inform program improvement.  "Assessment is the systematic collection, review, and use of information about educational programs undertaken for the purpose of improving student learning and development" (Marchese, 1987).

Submission Web Site URL: http://honesty.cs.uwlax.edu/GEA/  Anyone in a given department can fill out the assessment forms for a General Education course, but only their Department Appointee can submit the final form.  By default this person is the department chair.  Any questions should be directed to Scott Cooper (cooper.scot@uwlax.edu).
