Golden Key Literacy Program
A new emphasis in Golden Key is the effort to promote literacy. Literacy is broadly defined and can include a multiply of projects. The UWL chapter of Golden Key has recently begun working with WWTC to help tutor in Reading labs for people in the LaCrosse community struggling with reading. Assisting people of all ages increase their literacy has been rewarding for all involved. This project started in Spring of 2007 and we are looking to continuing to build and get more involved. We are looking to expand in other areas of literacy in Lacrosse, such as work at the public library reading with children.
