UW-La Crosse Foundation - Carol Dobrunz Endowment Fund
The UW-L Foundation is dedicated to the enhancement of the learning environment and promotion of the University and its mission statement. This fund supports conference costs for non-tenured faculty or instructional academic staff (IAS) without an indefinite appointment.
Grant Procedures
Eligibility:
The recipient must meet the following criteria:
- must be employed at UW-L with at least a 75 percent appointment;
- must be either a non-tenured faculty member or a member of instructional academic staff without an indefinite appointment;
- must be attending a national conference within his or her discipline;
- may not have previously received this award.

How much is awarded?
The award goes toward registration, travel and housing costs only. The amount of each annual award is determined by the committee based on the amount available from the Fund, but it will not be more than $1,000. To be eligible, the conference in the application must occur between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013.

Submission Process
Applicants must submit one paper copy (with required signatures) to the UW-L Foundation Office, Cleary Alumni & Friends Center (Attn. Sara Olson) plus one electronic copy of the application form (Word format without signatures) as an email attachment to solson@uwlax.edu.
