Use the Locations tool to manage the locations and layouts that are available for Calendar events and seating charts in your courses.
The Locations tool is primarily managed at the organization level to allow a centralized place to create, edit, set active/inactive, add and remove layouts, and delete locations.

At the course level, use the Locations tool to choose which locations to use in your course and customize a seating charts.
Note To use the Seating Chart tool, you must first create a location with a layout.

Locations on your navbar, your location may be set to Inactive, or you may not have to proper permissions enabled. Contact your administrator to set your location to Active or to modify your permissions.
