UW-L Password Management

ITS is now offering a new service that will allow students, faculty, and staff to reset their forgotten passwords without having to call the Eagle Help Desk. The service is now available over the web and in all GCA labs and classrooms. To take advantage of this service users must visit http://www.uwlax.edu/password. You will then have the options to reset (change) your NetID password by entering your current password, unlock your account, or recover your NetID password by entering your personal information. This new tool will set your new password up to work with all campus services. This means that you can access all of your accounts (NetID, EagleApps, WINGS, etc.) with one password.

WINGS (register for classes, check grades, and more)

Faculty and Staff can log in to WINGS using their UW-L NetID.
Enrolled Students can log in to WINGS using their UW-L NetID.
Prospective and Former Students can use their UW-L Student ID number (which begins with a number 8 or a number 9) and a WINGS password that was emailed to them when they first applied to UW-L.

Prospective and Former Students can request to have their WINGS password reset by completing the form here.

  • You will need to provide your UW-L Student ID to have your WINGS password reset.
  • Please allow 1 to 2 business days for your WINGS password to be reset.
