Electronic Technology Surplus

The Eagle Help Desk now handles surplus of all UW-L electronic technology. This would include items such as: computers, keyboards, mice, monitors, printers, CD/DVD players, TV's, and much more - essentially any item that contains a circuit board.

If the items you would like to surplus are not electronic technology (desks, cabinets, chairs, etc) you can fill out a surplus transaction form on the campus stores page located here.

To begin processing your electronic technology surplus, please follow the steps below:

  1. Login to our online ticketing system Web Help Desk, using your NetID username and password.
  2. Select Request Type: IT Services -> Electronic Technology Surplus.
  3. Enter your items into the "Request Detail" box using the directions in the green instructions box.
  4. Enter your contact information.
  5. Select the location of the surplus material from the drop down menus - Location, Room.
  6. Click the "Save" button.

Having clicked the "save" button an email will be sent to the Eagle Help Desk and you will be contacted to arrange a pickup time.

Items will be recycled in a secure and environmentally responsible manner by our local contractor. On Earth Day or any other day of the year, contact our Eagle Help Desk for disposal of electronic technology items.
