Individual File Storage
Individual File Storage allows students, faculty and staff to have a place to store their university related files which will be accessible from any computer with an internet connection on or off campus. Similar to commercial online storage systems, the UWL Individual File Storage will allow for 200MB of file storage for students and 1GB for faculty and staff. Documents and other files created with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat or other applications can be saved directly to this space. Using Web folders, Network Places or mapped drives this online file space can replace or complement existing methods of file storage such as recordable CD/DVD media, USB “Thumb” drives or commercial web based file storage (such as DropBox). This storage space is also easily accessible as a folder on the desktop of all GCA lab and classroom computers
