Guest Artist Residency with JOHN FEDCHOCK  - October 16, 2013

John will present 4 sessions from 1:00 - 5:00 in the Center for The Arts
Topics will include Improvisation, Jazz Trombone Techniques and the Business of Music.
At 7:00 p.m. he will present and perform at Leithold Music in downtown La Crosse

FALL JAZZ CONCERT  - October 22, 2013  7:30 p.m.
Valhalla Cartwright Center, Gunning Addition

This concert kicks of the semester with UW-L Jazz Ensemble I, and Jazz Ensemble II.
Musical selections include big band swing,
Latin and contemporary writing.
This is a FREE Performance!

SWINGING YULETIDE  -  Dec. 7, 2013 7:30 p.m.
Valhalla Cartwright Center, Gunning Addition

Swinging Yuletide – With the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra, the La Crosse Jazz Quartet
and the UW-L Vocal and Instrumental Jazz Ensembles.

Start your holiday season with some yuletide jazz and a visit from Santa!
A sell out every year.  Reserved seating is cabaret style at tables or
General seating is theatre style on the sides of the room.

THE UW-L JAZZ FEST
January 25, 2014
7:00 p.m. Valhalla, Cartwright Center, Gunning Addition

Featuring Guest Artist: Michael Janisch, Bassist and His New York Quintet

An all day event with workshops and performances.
Culminating with the 7:00 p.m. performance featuring
UW-L Jazz Ensemble I, select high school ensembles and out guest artists.
Tickets available only at the door. $15.00 Adults, $10.00 Students

BIG BAND CABARET  - February 15, 2014    7:30 p.m.
Valhalla Cartwright Center, Gunning Addition

Join the UW-L Big Bands and guests as they recreate the sounds of the big band era.
Seating is Cabaret style with beverage service and a spacious dance floor.
