Honor an Educator
Kappa Delta Pi's big event for the year occurred on May 2,
2009, when we honored 75 educators at our Honor an Educator
event. Members nominated educators who made a difference
in their lives, and these people were then invited to attend a
recognition ceremony at UW-L. The educators able to attend
enjoyed refreshments, then moved to the main room where our Key
Note Speaker, Dr. Barb Chaney, spoke about her teaching
experiences over the years, and certificates of honor were
distributed.
