TRAINING
Federal Regulations require training and continuing education to
ensure that all scientists, research technicians, animal
technicians, and other personnel involved in animal care,
treatment, and use are qualified to perform their duties in the
care and use of research animals.
This tutorial is mandatory for all animal users
including PI's, technicians and students. It provides information regarding
regulatory agencies, compliance, animal use and
responsibilities for on-going research at UW-L as dictated by
federal regulations.
Species Specific Training
These tutorials (as applicable) are mandatory training for all investigators,
technicians and students. They
provide information regarding husbandry, behavior, zoonosis, and varied topics.
