The Language Resource Center is supervised by the Director of the Language Resource Center, Joshua Everett; however, many students work hard to make the LRC a helpful resource for their fellow students. These students work as Lab Assistants or as Tutors in various languages here.
Students who are interested in volunteering as tutors in one of the languages offered by the UWL Department of Modern Languages or in working with language technology as a lab assistant in the Language Resource center are encouraged to contact the Director of the Language Resource Center. All volunteer positions will be compensated with work experience, training in additional skills that increase marketability as an employee, and letters of recommendation or references for jobs, scholarships, and graduate schools.
