The Health Science Center houses college-level academic programs, research, and complementary services: 

 

Academic Programs:  Clinical Laboratory Technician, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, Learning Disabilities, Physician Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, UW-Madison School of Nursing-Western Campus, and Community Developmental Disabilities Associate.

Research: UW-L faculty microbiology research laboratories, Gundersen Lutheran microbiology research laboratory, UW-L biomechanics laboratory. 

 

Direct Services:  Student Health Center for WWTC and UW-La Crosse students.  Three Rivers Community Dental Clinic. The R.E.A.D. Clinic focused on literacy services.  The La Crosse Medical Health Science Consortium corporate offices.

The Health Science Center is a 168,555-square feet, 6 level structure that opened in fall 2000.  It was built for a total cost of $27.1 million, which came from these sources:

·     $1.75 million for building site and equipment (WWTC)

The Health Science Center is located at 1300 Badger Street in La Crosse between the UW-L and WWTC campuses.
