The Archaeology
Center and Laboratories were built in 1940 and remodeled in 1999.
It contains educational displays for the public and students
which shows artifacts and describes the cultures of the
region from the last 10,000 years as well as showing how UW-L
archaeologists go about conducting their research. Also on
display are all of the artifacts that have been excavated by
UW-L and MVAC
archaeologists.
