Goosetown Monument

Goosetown Monument (1988) celebrates the Goosetown ethnic neighborhood which was a "melting pot" for immigrants and was a city within the City of La Crosse. With the the purchase of privately owned properties to accommodate the growing facility needs of the university, residents of the neighborhood scattered throughout the city, state and nation. The university continues the proud ethnic heritage of the area through its diverse student body which currently represents thirty eight (38) foreign countries
