UW-La Crosse Whitney Center

Whitney Center (1966, remodeled in 2000) serves as the primary dining location for individuals on the meal plan. The primary dining room provides four food stations for individuals to choose their meals. The stations include a deli, pizza/pasta, ethnic foods, and hot food/entrée area. Also located on the main floor is The Badger Street Station, a convenience store that includes a sub shop. Badger Street Station offers sandwiches made to order. Chars, specializes in charbroiled food, including hamburgers and chicken, is located in The Alternative. Chars is open Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. –6:30 p.m.

WLSU-89FM Radio is located in the lower level of Whitney Center.

The Health Center has moved to the Health Science Center. The Health Center offers a variety of free services to UW-La Crosse students, including flu shots, physical exams, and AIDS testing. There is also a Physical Therapy department which offers relief of activity-involved students who may have a sprained ankle or sore back.
