My Advice to a New Math 175 Student:

Coming into Math 175, I wish that I would have had stronger algebra skills. This would have made the first few weeks of classes run more smoothly. Other than making sure that your math skills are current in your head or can easily be remembered, do the homework. It may seem more time consuming than helpful but, in the long run it always pays off. If you don't understand something, ASK FOR HELP! There are many resources that you should make sure to use if you don't fully understand something. Also, working with someone on assignments helps if you are unsure of what you are doing.
