Tim has been in the Biology Department at UW-La Crosse since 1997. He is interested in collaborations between his department and teacher education for both pre-service and in-service teachers.  As a botanist, Tim has worked with his local school district to implement an elementary-level plant curriculum and has given numerous presentations at professional meetings regarding plants in education. In addition, he has experience teaching at the community college level and has taught high school.
