Becky has been in the Mathematics Department at UW-La Crosse since 1991. Her graduate background is in pure mathematics (commutative ring theory), but she was a secondary education major in college. Throughout her years at UW-L, she has become increasingly interested in the teaching and learning of mathematics. She worked on developing the Writing-in-the-Major Program in mathematics and has recently become involved in the Energizing UWS SoTL Activities in Mathematics program. She is working on a project to incorporate web-based activities in her College Algebra courses this fall.
