Mohamed has been interested and actively involved in using modern computational chemistry techniques, computer technology and web-based activities in teaching undergraduate chemistry and is currently working on developing an interactive visual chemistry lab on the nature of the chemical bond and structure reactivity using simple electronic structure calculations, Natural Bond Orbital (NBO) and Natural Resonance Theory (NRT).
