The COMAP Modeling Competition was hled February 14-18, 2008.
The UW-L team competed with over 500 institutions from around the
world to construct a solution to a challenging real-world problem using
mathematical modeling.
This year's team members were
- Jarod Hart (math/economics double major)
- Gus Borstad (math/physics double major)
- Kirk Wienkes (math/computer science double major
The team spent over twenty hours in a single weekend working to construct an algorithm for creating Soduku puzzles of varying levels of difficulty. See
