Aligned with the vision of the School of Education, the Mathematics Department has a strong commitment to mathematics education at all levels, from the preparation of future elementary, middle, and high school teachers to the professional development of in-service teacher. The department has active mathematics educators that have numerous research interests and offers a series of majors and minors to prepare effective teachers of mathematics.
