My Advice to a New Math 175 Student:
If I were able to go back to the first day of class and have the chance
to do it all over again, there are several things that I would do
differently. First, i would make sure to do all of my homework
assignments as they are assigned because once you fall behind you get
lost in class wind up playing catch up the rest of the semester. Also,
I would go and get help sooner from the tutor or the teacher as much as
possible because it helps you to understand things quicker and more
thoroughly. At the beginning of the semester, I wish I had refreshed
my
algebra skills better since they wind up to be an intrecal part of the
class throughout the whole semester. In short, I have discovered that
by doing the assigned assignments, going to class, and seeking out help
when needed, the calculus class can be handled with a significant
amount
of success.
Sincerely,
Greg, Management Major
