Cardiovascular Pathology. Designing innovative treatments for cardiovascular disorders. Mechanisms of cardiovascular development. Developing novel diagnostic assays for the detection and identification of clinically important pathogens.

Biography
After graduation in Spring 2012, I will pursue a PhD in Pathology Conduct interdisciplinary research to further the knowledge of my discipline. Later in my professional career, I wish to become a Director of a McNair Program , WiscAMP, or other program which aims to increase the number of underrepresented students pursuing advanced educational opportunities. For extracurricular involvement, I am the Co-President for the UWL Volunteering Within Organization. I have also been a part of Intramural Football on both a coed and men's team and won the league championship in 2009 and 2011 respectively. I enjoy reading, writing, rock climbing, back packing, camping, time with friends and family."
