At this point, I have done research under Dr. Basten in the area of memory and this has been very interesting to me. However, I am also very interested in the study of developm ent throughout the lifespan.

Biography
Vanessa is a member of the UWL Honor Society - Eta Phi Alpha, as well as Psi Chi International Honor Society. She likes spending time volunteering in La Crosse at places like New Horizons Shelter and Women's Center and Place of Grace. Some of her hobbies include: going for runs, hanging out with family and friends, playing Wii Sports, and exploring the world. She loves to travel and learn about new cultures. After graduation in Spring of 2012, Vanessa plans to attend a graduate school to pursue a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. She wants to study topics in the area of Clinical Psychology.
