Clinical Internship Sites: 2007-2008

The UW-L Medical Dosimetry Program offers two options of enrollment.

Track 1 is our formal program in which the applicant will be enrolled as a full time student at a formal affiliated clinical internship site. Upon graduation, the student is considered a Route 1 exam applicant by the MDCB (www.mdcb.org). This program adheres to all JRCERT accreditation standards.

Track 2 is our "on the job training" (OJT) option. These applicants are currently working in medical dosimetry at their place of employment and seeking to take courses at UW-L. There is no formal affiliation agreement between UW-L and the institution, however, there is a mentor and clinical site agreement implemented. The Track 2 students are considered Route 2 or 3 exam applicants by the MDCB.

Track 1 sites are the standard sites, but we can also consider new sites annually. Clinical sites must meet program criteria acceptable for internship training.
