Introduce a friend, family member or colleague to the Master of Education-Professional Development (ME-PD) Learning Community program!

Learn together - journey the two years with the support of someone you know!

Bring a Friend Weekend is held in August, the first weekend of the fall 2009 semester to introduce your friends to the UW-La Crosse ME-PD Learning Community program. Friends may attend the first weekend to help familiarize themselves with our exceptional graduate program. If you know of others who might enjoy the unique learning style and hands-on approach that this program offers, please encourage them to attend with you!

Advanced degree aspirations - For some, earning a master’s degree is another stepping stone to earning a doctorate degree or Ph.D.

Whatever your reason, our Master of Education-Professional Development (ME-PD) Learning Community program can help you reach your goal!

The Master of Education-Professional Development (ME-PD) Learning Community option is designed for certified teachers as well as professionals from other fields seeking to meet desired professional advancement goals or graduate students wishing to pursue a master's degree for other career goals. The ME-PD Learning Community option does not grant teacher certification/licensure.

The ME-PD Learning Community option is a fully accredited master's degree program offered in partnership with the College of Liberal Studies and Continuing Education and Extension. Its unique format sets it apart from many traditional graduate degree programs. The format is based on Adult Learning Theory which embraces the unique needs of adult learners. The ME-PD Learning Community program is facilitated by a team of educators who generally have experience in this delivery model as well as PK-16 teaching experience and expertise in the core curriculum.
