Precollege
Winter Survival Camp
2012
I am pleased and excited
to inform you that Uncle Ernie St. Germaine and his team of
mentors, educators, and wilderness experts from the Lac du
Flambeau Ojibwe reservation and Great Lakes Indian Fish and
Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC) have invited the UW-La Crosse
Pre-College program back for a winter camping weekend of
learning, group activities, and fun!
There
is no cost for you
to participate. UW-L will pay for the transportation, food,
activity and equipment fees, and staffing costs. Time is short,
however. So we urge you to look over the enclosed information
and discuss the program and dates with your parents. Then, if
you are interested, please complete the necessary forms as soon
as possible and return them to us via the return envelope. We
will limit participation to the first forty students who apply.
